You mention in your review that we found the wrong tenant", but what you forget to mention is that the tenant stayed for a long period of time and you were happy and it was only the last few months of the tenancy things went slightly wrong, due to the tenant fell on hard times and made a few delayed payments; when the tenant vacated and the deposit was released, the loss of rent you incurred for time the tenant stayed was £93 rent. The tenant left as requested and never caused you any further loss of rent.
The checkout report (which we confirmed with you we was doing) confirmed the condition of the property was given back to you in a similar condition it was given to the tenant but subject to needing a clean. You have both reports to compare against. The checkout report is completed to follow proper procedures on exit.
We didn't charge you a management fee on money you didn't receive. Why would you assume it is not ok for us to charge you a fee in proportion to the money you received as rent for work we completed?
We did everything we could to make the tenancy work and the exit as easy as possible. We truly are sorry things didn't work out and wish you all the best with your property and new tenancy.
