The most unprofessional company I've ever interacted with. It's really not worth the hassle.
Firstly, wasn't informed when viewing the flat that there was no parking. Later found out there is a car park but it's a really expensive one!!! So I've been having to park at my partners home and walking back.
When I moved in, Kingswood refused to replace the grotty old worn in mattress that was in my room.
All sorts of issues, broken window, broken freezer door, broken fridge light. They leave everything to the cleaner to sort out who is forced to double up as a handy man; which means he isn't very willing to help, is quite angry and will shout at you if you ask for anything.
I wanted my front door lock changing just for security and peace of mind (anyone could have a key to my flat). My request was flat out rejected again and they made me feel like I was being stupid for being cautious. My flat is situated above a nightclub in the city centre. I have every right to be cautious. Eventually after a lot of pushing the cleaner changed the lock for me 'in secret'. Of course I had to pay for the new lock which is reasonable, however he really overcharged me, as I work in a store that sells these kind of locks so I know how much they cost.
There is no communal bins to put your trash, so you have to walk down the road to the council skips to take out your trash. I mean how hard can it be to install a shoot for a block of flats?
Also, when I moved in the estate agent was so incompetent that he didn't even set up a standing order or direct debit for my rent.
So there is no official day I have to pay my rent. Even so I still get hassled every month with threats of late fees.
Overall the worst experience I've ever had with a company and more hassle than it's been worth unfortunately.
