My wife & I rented a property through Beacon Lee & Ward and have recently vacated & moved on. The overall experience was not a good one! Processes seem heavily biased in the landlord's favour and we are left with poor memories of the property and this agent. Despite reporting issues that required repair, these were never dealt with and quite frankly, we ended up just putting up with things. When it came to us leaving, we had a ‘walk through' inspection with the agent who confirmed the property was left to their satisfaction. We were amazed to find some days later, a claim for over £500.00 from our deposit. It took weeks of e-mails back & forth to get this resolved and to get this claim withdrawn. Claims were being made for defects in the property not caused by us and to replace items apparently we had broken. Even their own pictures & video taken at check-in showed prior damage but this did not stop them trying to claim from us. I would never use Beacon Lee & Ward again as they seemed to take our rent money every month, not repair things & then try to rip us off when we vacated.

Our story is similar.
I wish I would have checked the reviews before to rent.

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
