Just been through the first 6 months with Touchstone and well, they got lots to improve before they can say that they care.
First of all, my flat was advertised having a dishwasher, and seeing similar flats in the same street we didn't have any doubts it would not be true. But it wasn't, we moved in, and no dishwasher, we sent them an e-mail and recieved a reply that was something within the lines of 'sorry nothing we can do, there's no space to put a dishwasher'.
Then the front and back doors of the building that every once in a while dont close properly and have never been fixed (been here for 6 months), you could literally get in the building without a key if the door doesn't shut.
A missing lamp that was never replaced. The access code for the bike storage that was given is wrong (and we never got the right one).
But the worst is that the contract is due to be renewed/cancelled and they come up with a £260ish charge for 'the rest of the month' even though the whole month have been paid (so if anything we would be in credit?), and then when enquired about it they didn't reply at all, later then saying they never received the email (which is proven horsecrap as the email sent to us shows one of the agents fowarding the email to another).
They're are requiring for us to pay something they haven't explained what it is, nor was in our contract/rent calculator and they lie about receiving a reply.
That not to mention they're requiring a re-referencing? We have been here for 6 months and haven't missed a single rent date, they better not try charging us for this.
I'm deeply unsatisfied by the lies and lack of explanation/response from their agents.
