Disgusting!!! Our story: We moved in on 22nd January 2016. Signed a 14 month contract. On the first night the fire alarm went off in every 15 minutes, so we removed it, next day they told us to replace the battery probably that was the problem. The replaced battery hadn't solve the problem, so we put the fire alarm away. It was not a big deal, but when we moved out they charged us £50 repairing fee of the alarm! (Funny) And this was our smallest issue with them.
Next issue we signed a 14 months contract which was strange for us but who cares if they wanted this ... after 11 months they contacted us to renew our 12 months contract (for £72, but probably every agency does this). So we had to go after it, and it turned out they had no idea how many months was in our contract. And on top of it, because we moved in on 22nd of the month, we decided to pay the difference (cover the days between 22nd and 1st of the next month) at the beginning just to set the pay day on 1st of every month(roughly £500. When we moved out, they wanted to charge us again for these days because our contract said we moved in on 22nd ... So ew had to go after it again, and turned out they didn't know a thing again!!! Afterwards they didn't charged us again. So they were just trying...
Other thing, before we moved out we received a mail from them containing what to do before the move out. How to clean the property mostly. We have been cleaning the property for a week!!! Every inch of the house was cleaned, proper clean... And they charged us again, £210 for cleaning!!! We couldn't do anything about it. They said the landlord insists to this. But we have received the 'to do' list from them, not from the landlord...
And another deduction when we moved out, contract renewal fee from the year before (£72). Of course they didn't have any proof of this payment, luckily we had so we went after it again...!!!!!
And a check out fee at the end around £70 which was in the contract but after all this of course we were furious about every £ they were about charge us!!!
That was it more or less
Disgusting company working with same kind of landlords...
