This is not true of Estate Agents
The team at Town and Country work long hours and would often be calling us with updates at circa 7pm in the evening and in fact our offer came through to us around that time on a Saturday night. Hilary dealt with our sale and without a doubt was the driving force in pushing all parties (buyers , solicitors and other estate agents) in the chain through to exchange.
Colin was very knowledgeable about the area when he came to value our house. Some people thought we were mad for only getting one valuation, but when you are working with someone who has worked the same area for as long as Colin, we knew we could trust him to be accurate, and he was!
We had many frustrating situations arise in our chain but Hilary was always calm and managed to find a resolution when perhaps others would have given up.
I'm hoping not to sell again for a very long time as we found a house we really love. However, if we did, we would return to Town and Country. We have already recommended them to friends. Unfortunately the same will not be said for some other agents we have encountered during this sale!
