From a standing start at a difficult time of year Hopper sold our house in 12 weeks flat.
The single most important reason we chose Hopper was that they took the time to find out what we wanted from the sale (not always quite as obvious a question as it may seem) and they listened to our answers and acted on them. What they didn't do was tell us to do, hook us with an inflated estimate of value to gain our custom and then leave us then waiting for the dreaded word Reduced.
They took time and trouble to make sure the photographs were of high quality and were taken in the right weather conditions and at the right time of day. That made a big difference to the visual presentation of the house.
Andrew Wilson, our main point of contact, was an excellent negotiator. He showed calmness and courtesy throughout, as did all the other staff with whom we had any dealings.
In the process of selling itself and of meeting potential purchasers, they managed to establish a working bond that kept everyone in the loop and which was based on trust and honesty. This was important to resolve various glitches that inevitably arise when selling, or buying, a house. The information flow - both to us and from us - was simple, quick and effective.
We're delighted not just because Hopper sold our house, but because they did so without reflecting the unfortunate stereotypes of some lesser agents. They were superb.

Just about acceptable, though marginally higher than the competition. Better rates are available in more built up areas but we are in a rural setting. We chose personal local service over internet based cheaper conveyancers and we think it paid off.
