Even though we didn't sell through Thomas Morris, we bought through them. Our own estate agents after the sale were pretty poor, we constantly had to chase them for updates and in the end decided to by pass them altogether. After speaking with Chloe from Thomas Morris and letting her know about our agents she decided to do the progress chasing for the whole 4 person chain as people further down the chain where also having similar issues with their own agents.
She kept myself up to date by both email and calls and if I called her to leave a message she returned the call very quickly.
When Chloe wasn't available Katy and Jemma also helped massively with progress chasing the chain to make sure it all moved along smoothly.
I'm sure if all 3 ladies hadn't of helped, the completion date would have slipped a few more weeks into the future.

It's a shame to hear that your own agent was poor at keeping you updated, however it seems the efforts of Chloe, Jemma and Katy more than made up for the lack of activity from other agents in the chain. I know all three will be very happy to hear your thoughts.
