I recommend Brookdales 100%. This isn't an agent that acts only as an answer machine and passes on messages (as noted by other agencies). They actively looked after the property, tenant, issues, gave me advice and kept me updated ... and combined with all this I did not have any concerns, worries or pressures so in all, the fees were very spent. Staff at Brookdales use there initiative and come up with solutions. You do not pay the fee and lead them. They stand on their own two feet and act accordingly. Also they saved me £2500 when a boiler service company I had used in years told me I needed to replace the boiler. Brookdales sent a sub contractor round to access the boiler and it did not need replacing. I expect the boiler service company took advantage as I was a woman. I was so grateful to Julie for dealing with this. All staff have excellent customer service and one of the most important aspects is replying to an email or phone call quickly - this is often in minutes. Not many companies offer this customer service anymore. Magda was a fantastic help when i was selling the property as I required information and from the tenant - this was dealt with efficiently and swiftly.
