Mike Dingley was recommended to me by a friend who had been very happy with the way her sale had been handled. As I always prefer to act on a recommendation, I contacted Black and Golds and this turned out to be a very good decision. Mike was professional, informative and clearly knew the market well. He gave me excellent advice right from the start. Unfortunately, my initial sale stalled due to the Purchaser failing to co-operate on a number of fronts. Mike initially did what he could and chased my Purchaser frequently, trying to push the sale forward. When it became clear that a decision needed to be made with regards to proceeding/putting the property back on the market, Mike gave me excellent advice and explained all the reasoning for his recommendation that I pull out of the sale and look for another buyer. It was absolutely the right decision. Once I had pulled out of the sale, Mike immediately marketed my property again and it was back on Rightmove later the same day. By the weekend, Mike had secured several viewings and another sale was achieved with in a matter of days.
As my new sale progressed, Laura Callaghan became the main liaison person between all the various Parties in the chain. She did a superb job and I cannot rate and recommend her highly enough. One of the Parties in the chain was a little slow at dealing with various aspects of the transaction and Laura chased on a virtually daily basis until her tenacity paid off and we completed on the date we had hoped for which had begun to look unlikely. Laura not only did an excellent job in liaising between all the Parties, she also never failed to keep me updated so I knew exactly what was going on every step of the way. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Black and Golds.
Whilst I have singled out Laura and Mike for special praise, I have to comment that all the staff I came into contact with at Black and Golds were excellent. They all communicated perfectly as a Team and messages and return calls were never overlooked.
In summary, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Black and Golds. If you want a firm with professionalism, expertise, approachability and, very importantly, tenacity then Black and Golds are the ones to go for!
