I went to Brittons as I wasn't having much success with my agent. An agent came round a week later and stayed over 2hrs telling me how great they are and what a high success rate they had. After signing up they told me I would be lucky to get £95000 for my property yet had put it on for £100000. They insist on doing all the viewings and practically through me out my own flat with my dog on first viewing. On my return it was clear viewer wasn't interested yet next day I was told he was. When the agent arrived for second viewing her first words were WHAT WE DOING WITH THE DOG. I said she was in her crate and I wouldn't be going out. Throughout viewing it was clear she was trying to shut me up . On leaving with the viewer she didn't even say goodbye just walked off. When I said I would do the next viewing on my own I was told I would have to send an email stating this as attending viewing was there policy. I was even told what I could say and couldn't to perspective buyer's. And was told it would be better if I went out as I was (stressed) and it would put the buyers off. Staff also rude and very sarcastic ONCE THEY HAD MY CUSTOM. Have now gone back to my previous agent . But have been told that I will have to pay them a leaving fee!!! . The whole experience was a nightmare. Which you don't need as selling property is stressful enough.
