We first selected Fine & Country for their excellent, very innovative, high quality marketing but they went well beyond this. They were extremely hard working and proactive at securing viewings - quite a lot of clients came from outside the usual catchment area, and they worked hard at targeting the right buyer profile. The lead agent Paul Harris made special effort for all key staff (Julie Jackson, Sue Gibson, and Richard Carpenter) to come in and familiarise with the property before the viewings. The house had been on the market for 3 months with another agent Cheffins with only ONE viewing, with F&C we had a whole bunch of viewings every week and the offers came through quickly.
We had a large period beautiful property but with quite a few downsides and the staff were very intelligent at building the strategy on how to conceal the disadvantages where possible (e.g. viewings only at favourable times) and display the qualities in full force. Once under offer they really made sure that all conditions worked to our advantage and in our interest.
Julie Jackson, responsible for most dealings, has been absolutely superb at managing the sales process from the viewing - to the offer - to completion (and beyond!) working extremely hard at keeping the sale progress on and on in what was a difficult, long and ridden with complications chain - managing the whole chain from the bottom to the top, influencing the progress in a sophisticated and experienced manner. But for Julie, I really can't see that chain would have happened!
I have not seen any other agent who works so hard, and as a sales and marketing management consultant I can fully appreciate the inner workings of what it takes. F&C are brilliant at what they do, and they do it very professionally and honestly! They fully deserve their "Best Agent" awards and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is buying or selling in this difficult market, because they will get it gone - and at a realistic, favourable price too!
