Worth noting we use the Deposit Protection Service under the required legislation therefore we are unable to keep monies from a tenants deposit. In some cases a landlord can claim rent arrears from a deposit, which happened in this case. For information on the DPS check out the link https://www.depositprotection.com/legislation

Cleaning
We are sorry you feel disappointed regarding a deposit deduction for cleaning, however, the oven was brand new in November 2018 so was less than a year old when you moved into the property and was clean at the start of your tenancy, plus some extra cleaning was required elsewhere, as you will see from your check in and check out report and photographs.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear you were not happy with the service provided by Mint Homes at the end of your tenancy.
However, Mint Homes will only make a deposit deduction if there is an anomaly to the initial signed inventory. Our tenancy agreement also advises how the garden and interior of the property and contents should be kept throughout the tenancy as well as left at the end.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
