I am afraid that I have to agree with many of the other comments on this website - I only wish I had found it earlier. Do not use this agent. Vendors beware! They charge a fixed fee (rather than a percentage of the sale price) which means they don't necessarily need to secure the best possible offer for your property and can concentrate instead on pursuing the undoubted benefits of signing up the purchaser with their own mortgage adviser and solicitors.
In other areas of the financial sector, it is a requirement that clients be made aware of any potential commission payments. As the vendor and the client, I was not given any information about the commission the agent might earn from the purchaser. I feel very strongly that this practice should be changed as it obviously has the potential to affect the offers which are put forward - something which is borne out by some of the other comments on this site. In fact, I was concerned about Fox & Sons' general lack of openness throughout this process.
In addition, the purchasers were hugely dissatisfied with service they received from the Fox & Sons mortgage adviser and solicitors - I can only admire their tenacity in hanging on in there!
I took my many complaints to the second stage of their process but to my shame, simply did not have the energy to pursue matters through to the Ombudsman. Needless to say I got nowhere and the investigator's findings were conveniently silent on their pursuit of commission rather than securing the best price for the vendor.
I just wonder how many more of their clients they can afford to leave angry and dissatisfied with the feeling they have been duped! DON'T USE FOX & SONS!

This guy clearly knows nothing we work on a no sale no fee basis u signed the agreement deal with it ! And surely you would want to know that Foxs are dealing with the purchasers mortgage as again as we work on a no sale no fee basis it will go through quicker mening you get your money sooner
