Absolute waste of time - failed at introduction phase. Made an online booking for a house appraisal for two days later and received an automated reply saying we were scheduled, but would get a call from Hunters to confirm.
No call was forthcoming, waited in this morning and then got a call from them at 1030 saying they were a no show for 11. The person said they had left a voicemail message - I have checked this and they did not leave any message.
Hunters frequently post flyers through doors here in Harrogate stating that their service is ever so good. It isn't. It is in fact extremely poor as evidenced by our experience with them. Interestingly, William H Brown Estate Agents, close to Hunters in Harrogate, confirmed with us immediately - as did House Simple, one of the online options. Both efficient and respectful of their customers.
Selling property is fraught enough without this poor standard of service.

Karen, having read your review and now having spoken to you I hope you can accept my apologies about the issues you had booking your valuation. As discussed, having booked online with us due to unforeseen circumstances we did not have a member of staff available to cover the appointment. I understand having then prepared the house and receiving a last minute call this would have been disappointing and frustrating, and again I offer my apologies.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
