AVOID this cheating company!!!!!!!!
we asked this company to value our property prior to us refurbishing it completely, which they did, recommending that once ready to market we should do an open day with a price in excess of..... to get the best and fastest deal Once complete we asked them to return to value and market the property for us, we had geared the whole thing around an open day viewing but were now told that's not a good idea and a bad way to sell, so trusting their advice we agreed to market the flat in the traditional way.
They never marketed with a price in excess of £175k leaving us receiving lesser offers than they advised we should accept but now advised we take an offer of £170k, we went along again with this advice as at least our buyer could offer a quick completion!!!! Months later we are approached by the buyers solicitor saying they had advised him that the LA were going to spend thousands refurbishing the block, plus would need a payment now for works already completed, he wanted us to drop a further £1000.... Not only is this not factual, only possible(I checked with solicitor) apparently this agent was already showing our buyer another property!!!! What a total bunch of underhanded unprofessional crooks this lot are - we have since been advised by another far more professional company that the initial advice of an open day is in fact the best way to sell!!
- use a reputable company - wish I had read the reviews first!

Further to our investigation into this matter it is clear that you were more than happy with our services up until the point of your buyer withdrawing from the purchase.
Our findings are that the purchaser's solicitor received the leasehold pack from Basildon Council. The details in this pack were that the Council were to be undertaking works in the very near future and this would be a cost of approximately £17,000 to the proposed purchaser. This was relayed by the purchaser's solicitor to the purchaser who took several days to consider the position of the purchase and subsequently decided to withdraw. This is no fault of our company and we cannot be considered unprofessional by this happening and certainly do not deserve the comments to which you have made.
Can we just add that our company has had some excellent reviews and we are very disappointed that you feel the need to leave a bad review about our company over a situation that was beyond our control and will no doubt be an issue for any future proposed purchaser.
We are sorry that you are upset due to the findings and wish you every success in selling your property in the future.
