As you re fully aware this was a problem with the roof in a purpose built block that was managed by another company. As a resident it was strictly YOUR responsibility to deal with the block managers but we instead took on the task of liasing with them and pushing for resolution.
The repairs did take a very long time but I would like to ask you what you think we could have done to make things move faster. The parties involved included the block managers, the NHBC, the buildings insurers and the contractors. Bright Estate Agents sat nowhere in this trail of people who made any decisions, organised works, paid for works or indeed had any influence.
We did negotiate with the landlord to allow you to leave the tenancy early and without penalty. We also engaged in huge amounts of correspondence regarding organising access and pushing to try and get the repairs done but the three parties with the least influence were YOU, US and the LANDLORD. Nothing any of us could do made any differnence to the settling of a claim with the NHBC or organiseing contractors.
I feel very sorry for my staff because having reviewed the amount of communication that they entered into on your behalf only to have your spite thrown back in their faces saddens me. I would like to invite you to our office to review the trail of email and call logs to see just how hard they worked for YOU!!
