From start to finish we had excellent service from both the Henleaze and Westbury branches of CJ Hole. The initial meeting was informal, yet professional and we didn't feel pressured by Tom or Ben with regard to putting the house on the market. We felt confident in the advice that was given and found them to be in helpful and informative. Photos were taken and the house was quickly on the market. We felt confident that our property would be marketed to the right buyers and it was only a short time until a buyer was found. They were respectful with viewings and worked around our needs to ensure they were convenient. When offers were presented, we didn't feel under any pressure to accept a lower offer to reach a quick sale (as we had experienced with other agents in the area previously) and felt that they were trying to ensure that we received the best offer we could for our property.

We also bought through CJ Hole and found that we had a similar, positive experience in this process, and were able to reach a mutually agreeable price with the seller, that we felt was fair and unbiased.

Throughout the buying and selling process thereafter we felt well informed and kept up to date with how things were progressing by Kim and found her to be helpful in moving things forward and making enquiries on our behalf.

Overall, despite the usual house buying/selling hurdles, this was a positive experience that was made possible by the excellent service the agent provided.
Comment on agent fees
The fees were broadly average. A neighbour was able to negotiate a lower percentage than I was offered and I did ask Tom to look into this - I was given an explanation, but the discussion about whether we could negotiate further wasn't taken forward.
