Until August this year I had been a resident leaseholder of a Hove retirement flat for 5 years. During that period Whitlock and Heaps sold several flats in our block, significantly more than any other estate agent. Hence Peter, Jack and Brian were well known to us. I asked them to put my flat on the market back in February. They provided me with a potential buyer immediately, with whom a fair price was quickly negotiated. There was a chain involved and it proved to be a very troublesome one. Jack and Peter put in an enormous amount work over a period of 6 months chasing and solicitors and estate agents in the chain. Finally completion was achieved in August. Without the persistence and care of Jack and Peter the chain would probably have fallen apart. I have no recommend this estate agent unreservedly
