If you are looking for a house to rent do not even think about calling these people. Before signing the contract everything was friendliness and happiness. Once singed, the nightmare started. We arrived there and there was a swimming pool in all the ground floor because a pipe was leaking (ooops...). Can we have the carpet changed? Nope, you already signed the contract, so let's wait a couple of days for it to dry'. Well... if the pipe is still leaking once you have moved in and you call the agency, they might come to fix it and then call you back saying you should put a bucket under the leak and not call us for this kind of things, only emergencies. Really? That's not enough, waking up in the mornings and finding your landlord in your house is normal. Offer him a coffee because because if you complain to the State Agent they will say it's his house..... This actually was clearly illegal. If your boiler doesn't work sometimes, and you have to restart it every time there is not hot water, it's ok. The landlord will change it once the restart option doesn't work. So, please, wake up every morning 30 minutes in advance in case there is no hot water: you might have to wait for the water o heat :) The state agent will communicate you the message of the landlord, but they will not explain the landlord what your rights are. If you want that, they will tell you to go to court and proceed yourself.
Actually if you explain one of the problems above mentioned to Rob, he will call you back *(never happened). Next times you call the office, Cameron will answer sorry, i'm not in charge of this case. Rob is handling it. And vice-versa.
As said, rent it if you are a landlord. Run away if you are a tenant.
Comment on agent fees
