The worst people I have ever dealt with. We were moving into a property managed by Berkeley estates and management (who work with Braemar estates) and were absolutely appalled at the state in which we found it in when we received the keys and moved in. The place was disgusting, there was mould on the sofas, dead insects and dust all over the kitchen surfaces, urine still in the toilet from when the last tenant had checked out 3/4 weeks prior, the fridge was broken, the bathroom door was broken and perhaps the most annoying and most inconvenient the bed was broken! We were then unable to contact anyone in regards to this until the next day as by the time we arrived at the flat Berkeley's office was closed and so we were forced to pay to stay elsewhere for that night. The bed was eventually fixed 2 days after our check in but we were never reimbursed for our expenses for having to sleep elsewhere. The place was then professionally cleaned 4 days after our move in. Throughout our short 6 month tenancy we found more and more things wrong with the flat but Berkeleys were not interested in fixing things or satisfying the tenants, all they were interested about was the money. Would never ever deal with these people again and would recommend all others to stay away!

I don't feel the fee of £300 each was reflective of the services they provided us. As students this fee was unrealistic. I don't understand what the agency fee pays for and feel it is futile. compared to other agents this fee was about double.
