Issues we had before we even moved in:
-They asked that me and my flatmate provide garuntors, 3 different staff members emailed us on this matter with conflicting information
-Drip fed us information about which forms we had to fill out then threatened to not let us move in on our desired dateIssues we have had before we even moved in:
-They asked that me and my flatmate provide garuntors, 3 different staff members emailed us on this matter with conflicting information
-Drip fed us information about which forms we had to fill out then threatened to not let us move in on our desired date (which was already 10 days after the tenency start date)
-Left it until very close to the move in date to tell us that we needed references from our garuntors workplaces and required countless pieces of information as well as written confirmation of their salaries from a colleague
-Lots of conflicting info about garuntor references from different people
When we got to the office:
-Told us that the parking permit/space that is INCLUDED IN THE RENT PRICE was not 'ready' for us as previous tenants had lost the carpark fob and landlord was not replying
-Told us there was alternative off street parking around the flat we could use to unload our things and use until the permit is ready. This was a LIE! We know the area and there is no avaliable parking
-Barely apologised for not having the parking permit ready for us, said that if we got a parking ticket it would be are fault.... Not helpful!
Since we have lived here (one week):
-Gave us a carpark fob and told us on the phone that we did NOT need a physical permit to put in the car window
-Of course this was a lie and we got a parking ticket!!! It turns out we DO need a permit in the window and it is the letting agents job to arrange this with the landlord PRIOR to the move in date
-We have enquired about several things and have got the laziest responses, one of which was why don't you google it when we asked for a phone number, very rude
