English Homes are an exceptional, local agent with a highly experienced and very capable team. The whole approach is based on a very friendly, supportive attitude towards their clients, even when the going gets tough! EH handled the sale of our cottage briliiantly. We knew from the outset that it may prove to be a tricky sale but Michael English took up the challenge without hesitation and in spite of a number of setbacks, totally beyond their control, achieved a sale at a price we were satisfied with.
The entire team - Michael, Olwen and in particular Clare - worked tirelessly to achieve this and kept us fully informed throughout.
What sets EH apart is their family based approach which contrasts so strongly with the large corporate agencies and the new online agents where the whole raison d'etre is simply the final commission. Although clearly EH are in business to make a living, they put their client first rather than trying to achieve a sale at any cost. Selling your home is a stressful and at times traumatic procedure, English Homes take a lot of the stress away and ease the way, not least due to a sense of humour.but highly professional manner.
We are very happy to have asked EH to sell our homes and cannot recommend them highly enough.

The agents were very polite, but the property was on the market as "offer above £65,000 will be considered". I offered £66,000 at first, and discovered that actually, (after offering more still,) the vendor would not consider offers under £72,000. The estate agent put the flat back on ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
