I will never ever even look to the Dexters brand after the bad experience I have had with them. If you want to be messed around, and to have your time wasted, then this brand will recieve the full five stars. If I am meeting your offer, and giving my card details - I expect you to take my deposit, as agreed, and take me seriously. I met all their requirements, but managed to get screwed over by them somehow allowing a second person to get referenced at the same time as me. Absolutely disgraceful, disgusting behaviour - and just plain dodgy and sly. Showed their true colours. I will never recommend Dexters to anyone, especially the Chiswick High Road Office. If anything I will only continue to warn people.
Comment on agent fees
They do not seem to have a structure when it comes to fees. Do not assume that just because you've signed a paper or given your card details, that any fees or deposites will be taken. They don't. Not to be trusted.

Hi , had exactly the same experience. Except that we were asked more and more money for guarantee before signing the contract. We were lucky to realize that we are being fouled!

I agree avoid Dexters Chiswick - liars, schemers, they will play you. The general theme throughout is that they lie & you can't trust them. Georgina McConnell is a property manager at Chiswick who lies to her landlord clients & also her tenants, she trains Sarah Dowling who is like a rabid dog frothing at the mouth & throwing tantrums - she asks you questions & before you've responded she's yelling over the top of you. You'll change your mind once your tenancy has been underway for a while - they're lovely at the beginning, but once things go wrong, the property needs repair, you don't have electricity, hot water they will lie, cheat & be disgustingly rude to you. I have to agree with you here. I'm trying Dexters for the second time (although I'm not holding out high hopes, and I have several back up plans in case things should hit the fan) and Tom Mclarnon was an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with when letting the property I am moving out of now.
