Horrific experiences - tardy to broken boilers, our back door was broken for a month (and allowed entry to all, so we couldn't move in for a month). They and the Landlord declined to push back the move-in date, thus losing £1100 of rent.

The property wasn't cleaned twice and we ended up painting the entire property. Bed mattress was at a 45 degree angle and it took in excess of four opinions (independent company, ourselves, the letting agent and the land lord's!) in order to get it replaced. This property was so disgusting on moving in that the walls looked like they had smoke damage.

Their contractors have frequently allowed themselves onsite (using keys from this branch) without consent. Our complaints are met with a sorry, which holds as much worth as a chocolate teapot.

we had to call arrange everything directly with the landlord the only time we had contact with chancellors was to do the viewing and to pay the fees. unacceptable to have to arrange the check out process without any involvement of cahncellors. luckily the landlord was amazing.

I am sorry to learn that there was some confusion surrounding the chain of events that took place at the end of your tenancy. Your landlord has opted to manage the property himself, and as such he would be responsible for arranging the check-out and informing you of the necessary arrangements. It would be your right to ask for the opportunity to attend the check-out along with the landlord, if he wishes to attend, and this would ensure that you were present at the time the report was drawn up ...

Returned one of my many calls. Responded to one of many emails. Left me a voicemail to day the property is under offer / still on the market. Arrange a viewing. Have a contact us section on their website where someone actually does.

Agents should be helpful, respectful, have a decent human understanding and patience, as well as some good customer service manners. In today's world I believe this is a really basic requirement.
