Initially we found this agency helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately we have moved into a place under their agency. This particular place was promised to have certain appliances and furniture fixed before we moved in. It was stated it had had a professional clean! Neither of these were done and staff continue to have no knowledge if anything will be fixed.. The apartment was dirty and required a few hours of bleaching and cleaning before we could unpack and settle in! The staff were extremely defensive and would not show us proof of a professional clean receipt or certificate and that everything would be fixed in due course. These empty promises seem to be common to Sheffield Residential as other clients have reported the exact same issues whilst we have been in the office! The biggest annoyance has been that the property has been vacant for 3 months and has not had basic issues fixed!!! Obviously a new tenant would move in eventually so why bother waiting until someone is in the new property to upgrade and cause the new tenants a massive inconvenience?! Sheffield Residential have not been helpful in this whole process and have tried to hide blame and avoid the real issues at hand. They couldn't even change the contract properly and kept resending us the contract with our names misspelt! Would not recommend even if desperate as the contracts are made to suck more money out of you and the agency has been more than unhelpful.

Apartment fees are good, agency fees are decent compared to other agencies but it is a lot of money for nothing!

unfortunately, it has been years since your comment was posted and they are still providing poor services even worse. Their main concern is your deposit and that is it. I regret that I did not avoid them after reading your comment.
