Complaints Against Lettings Agents - Barnard Marcus / Sequence Home / Connells
In the 2nd quarter of 2015, as the then Landlord, I was forced to begin an eviction process, using a solicitor to kick-start the process and paper-work, which cost me £970.
The Tenant eventually left on 27th. July 2015.
In an effort to wrap this up with the TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) and get back expenses incurred to formally evict the tenant, I am still struggling with the managing agents administration department in Leighton Buzzard, to supply TDS with the information they need, to release the deposit and hence my expenses.
Managing agent staff assigned to completing the administration have been, firstly Colin Mahoney, then Zoe Budgen, then Melissa May, and finally at my insistence 2 weeks ago, Manageress Daniela Marcucci.
Having sent Daniela 5 emails and left at least 5-6 messages to contact me, this week, I've also tried escalating to Connells Head of Operations today, Peter Coughlan, with no telephonic response to date, and no update to date.
Comment on agent fees
Once they had their "fully managed fee" paid they were happy..however, fully managed also meant right up until I got my expenses back, caused by THEIR (fully managed) tenant, in my property. It affected my entire family's life!!
