I don't even know where to start. Over £300 in fees to move in and we have to constantly chase them up. They never return calls and when you finally reach a staff member you get spoken to like scum.
We moved into the property with a smashed window. 2 weeks prior had been promised it would be fixed before we moved in (we have small children) fast forward six weeks and the window came through onto our dog, who suffered serious injuries.
Shortly after we arranged a meeting with the landlord and agent at the property to discuss this matter. We were not told it was actually a house inspection. The property did not have a full banister (I am disabled) we requested one to be fitted to comply with the law only to be told by the man inspecting the house normal people can climb stairs.
We have had nothing but trouble between them loosing the spare set of house keys, not doing a check out and the landlady contacting us directly rather than through the agent. They didn't tell the landlady we had pets although we had declared the fact.
All I can say is avoid. I will be taking the matter further and have already one our first complaint and they did pay our vet fees after a four month battle.
Here's hoping after completely gutting the filthy house, professionally cleaning the carpets and fitting new locks we see our deposit at some point!

What agent could do to change your mind?
He could have offered to repay some of the ‚£1,104.18 he has had in all the different fees that have been taken for services never provided. This property is let out to provide some financial support to my mother who's house it is and she has fees of ‚£1700 every four weeks To maximise income it was suggested we re-carpet throughout so new carpets were fitted throughout, not expensive ones but practical polypropylene ones in October and with new lino in the kitchen and both toilets we spent nearly ‚£2000. Along with other expenses including landlord insurance so far we have only just broken even and we are back to square one. Quite frankly this has been one of the most disappointing experiences of my 59 year life. To be frank I am not sure anything could change my mind about this incident and the information should be out there to warn others of their sharp practices. It is high time this industry was regulated.Attached Filesnbsp;
