After being with this agent for almost 2 years, we where fortunate enough to be able to purchase our own property, and the landlord was great. However, not everybody within the Woodchurch Road Belvoir where customer focused. We felt that we where treated poorly on terminating our tenancy. After paying a £295 Administration Fee at the start of the Tenancy, including £895 Deposit, why is it justifiable to then charge a further £80 for fees including checklist check and for future references. I accept that the tenancy end fee is included in the contract, notably 1/2 way through the booklet! We also received somebody else's signed contract with Personal Details on, including Next of Kin details, with our cheque. On calling Belvoir, Woodchurch Road, to complain about this, and speaking to Glynis, she rightly pointed out that the £80 fee was in the contact that we signed at the beginning, which was correct, but communicated in a very smug way, as for receiving somebody else's personal details, this was just TOUGH, we will send another copy, and our number has been blocked by them so we can not communicate in future.

So, anybody who wishes to use Belvoir on Woodchurch Road, think carefully and fully check the contract as it is bulked up by so many tedious charges, unlike Whitegates who we where tenants for 6 years prior to Belvoir, and steer away from rude Glynis, who thinks its okay to receive somebody else's tenancy Personal Details.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Bad compared to Whitegates, they do not charge an exit fee.

I had the experience of having to speak to Steve Malloy last week and can honestly say that I have never spoken to such an arrogant, uncaring person in my life. I was enquiring about a house for rent on behalf of my daughter and he went as far as calling both my daughter and myself liars. I dont really agree with all the fees for credit check ect ect as credit score can be done online for free. But all letting agents do this not just belvoir.

As a landlord they are dreadful. They say one thing to you on he phone and then something totally different in a 'later' email. They say say they will look after your property (yes the central heating will be left on for a few hours in midwinter - after the tenant has left and the property is vacant) and then they refuse and refuse and refuse to return that 1 phonecall (in December, during the frost, when you need to be told that the heating has actually been left on for a few hours and someon ...
