If you are thinking of renting or buying a property managed by Peter James; CONSIDER THIS A WARNING!

From the moment we started engaging with Peter James (nearly 4 months ago) everything went wrong. We found a lovely apartment with a couple of issues that we wanted to have resolved before we could move in. Peter James agreed on fixing all the problems (jobs seemed pretty easy to us - just needed replacing or fixing) the week before we moved in so we wouldn't have to worry about it as some of the things were broken. On moving day we unfortately noticed that only one minor issue had been resolved, leaving the rest to deal with later. We also found that nothing had been cleaned - besides dust we also found a lot of mold stains on the doors and windows. After calling them they couldn't give us a proper reason for why it hadn't been dealt with. It eventually took them nearly 6 weeks to complete the rest of the tasks, even though it was only a one day job. Just repairing our toilet button and a panel in the kitchen took up to three days. Recurring problems also take a lot of time to be fixed.

Furthermore, proper communication with Peter James seems to be a big problem. On two occassions people have let themselves into our apartment to either check or fix something without our knowledge and consent. This can be very disturbing, especially when you don't expect someone to come by.

We feel like Peter James does not care about delivering anything close to good service so please think twice before you engage with this estate agent!!!
