This Review is of the Property Management Department within Bournes Lettings Agent in Alton, Hants. They have repeatedly neglected to respond to reports by us the Tenants of problems with the property, maintenance issues are not dealt with, items not fit for purpose reports ignored. We have several outstanding reports existing for several months that we have not received any emails, phone calls or any form of contact from them about. I even contacted the Landlord directly to seek his help and he ignored us. I escalated to the Lettings Manager of the branch who said he'd deal with it, but then claimed it wasn't his responsibility. We have been model tenants in various properties over the past 10 years and this is the worse experience we've ever had. The garage door, which has never been fixed or even looked at, something we have repeatedly and pro actively asked for, fell on my head today causing an injury. I would strongly recommend that no-one in their right minds who cares about their rights as a tenant uses this agency.

I am the seller and builder of this property and I think it is very unfair to be blaming the agent given it was them who were urging me to stick with yourselves as a buyer. Bourne had the lowest of the fees being charged by Estate Agents in the area although I did find them to be very high especially when they do a minimal of paper work and I had to chase to be sent the inventory and a copy of the signed agreement. The company that they use to carry out the inventory did not complete a very thorough documentation and I had to request several issues to be added.
