I recently sold a property in Cheshire through auction. This was a complex sale in that it was being sold on behalf of a Trust requiring the agreement of four Trustees. The property was a house with a small area of land with development potential and was as such difficult to assign a sale value to. The sale was dealt with by Richard Greenham at Meller Braggins.
Richard was a pleasure to deal with being pleasant, responsive to client suggestions as well as providing sound advice, courteous, honest and transparent in dealings with my solicitors and prospective buyers. He was also good at providing feedback on the marketing process, providing regular feedback on numbers of viewers and an assessment of how serious they were.
I was very impressed throughout with the level of service we received from Richard and his colleagues at Meller Braggins. The sale price achieved for the property exceeded our expectations by some distance.
Comment on agent fees
Meller Braggins fees were competitive with other Agents, but their obvious knowledge and expertise of the local market (and a track record in property auctions) were the main factors in my decision to appoint them.
