Planning to buy and tried to view properties with Dexters - disastrous. Agent (assuming Google will not take kindly to publishing his name so shall refrain) showing me the first flat I viewed was extremely arrogant about how a flat couldn't be compared to anything else on the market when the same flat in the house next door (done to a better interior standard actually, I viewed both) was on the market for less - I felt more like I was in the presence of a schoolyard bully than an advisor.

Mentioned I can't answer my phone during the working day and ask to be contacted via e-mail, then told that's not possible for the majority of properties on their portfolio. Yet when anything serious happens they demand it in writing - ha!

Foxtons (despite their expensive reputation) better, even other chains like KFH and WInkworth at least attempt to make you feel valued as a potential customer. Go local where possible - these guys (Sales, I'm aware their Lettings guys are a different office) unfortunately are terrible.

Don't remember his name, but when I popped in to speak with someone he was all the time (while I was speaking to him) looking to other customers (not even to my face) and pretending he was listening to me and solving my problem. Which he didn't. Please, remember contact face to face to a person while speaking, they will feel more listened. Terrible service, and even worst for being a Director from the branch of a agency.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
