As a result of our initial enquiries into the sale of the new builds in Kimpton and the excellent service we had from Chrissy Bassett at the Kimpton branch, we chose Country Properties to be the agent to sell our house. The sale was by no means easy through no fault of the agent. The initial potential buyer of our home was extremely difficult to deal with, but James dealt them in a firm but professional manner. He kept us informed, in and outside working hours. The process became frustrating for both him and ourselves, but James was continually on the case.
When this original buyer finally dropped out after 6 months, James and Rebecca continued to advise and represent our best needs. Our eventual sale went through smoothly with continued support and advice from the Country Propertiies team.
Another reason for choosing Country Properties was that they were able to demonstrate, in depth, knowledge of the property market and facilities available in Kimpton. We feel that this level of expertise was enhanced by their being a branch of Country Properties in Kimpton, and the staff there were always approachable and professional. The widespread location of Country Property offices, including in the smaller location of Kimpton, allows good representation on the street as well as on the Internet.
