We sold our London flat through eMoov and it was the best decision we made. We initially invited 3 high street EAs to value our flat. Their valuations ranged from £325k, £350k to £365k. We felt they were undervaluing our property just to get a quick sale. After much research, we contacted eMoov and they managed the whole process faultlessly. Jessica Brill was our main contacted and she was thorough, experienced and relentless in her pursuit of all the parties involved to ensure our chain of 5 was progressing. She was also calm and cheerful and a great support to us through the ups and downs of selling our property. Having eMoov available to contact 7 days a week and up to 8pm on weekdays was a real bonus and if Jessica was not available anyone who answered the call was able to help us. Setting up our advert, which was listed on all the major selling portals like Rightmove, was easy. eMoov sent a person to photograph and measure our property and to do our EPC. We were given sign off on which photographs were used and even added some of our own. There is a template you can fill in with your advert details, and this is customisable. You regularly get a statistics report which helps you to see who is viewing your property and this enables you to make adjustments to your advert if you want to. eMoov provided us with a brochure to print off and give to our prospective buyers and the viewings were led by ourselves. We asked for feedback and all our viewers said they found the eMoov platform straightforward for booking viewings and they really liked having the homeowners show them around as we had much more knowledge about the flat and local area than an estate agent would. Also our viewings averaged around 40 minutes instead of approximately 15 with an EA, which gave each viewer much more time to get to know the flat and feel if it was right for them. We felt this process added to the success of our sale as we got 5 offers out of 6 viewings on one day and achieved our asking price of £389.950. We were so pleased we choose eMoov to help us sell our flat and have recommended them to our friends and we will definitely use them again in the future
We estimate we saved £6k by choosing eMoov. When we take into account the quality of their service from listing to completion, we feel they are the only agent we will ever use to sell a property.
