This agency is a pathetic excuse to call itself a real estate agency.
First of all you get conned into viewing some banged up properties, and later on promises that they will fix it up after you take the property.
Took them a whole month just to fix a leakage in the property.
Bathroom was mauldy, tv in property did not work and never got replaced. Every time you call them they promise to get back to you..... THEY NEVER DO!
One colleague doesn't know what the other is doing, apparently their administration is useless.
After having to live in a property for over 1 week with no heating I decided to leave the premises and cancelled the contract. Also had a engineer check the boiler, which then turned out to be a threat and should have been replaced 3 years ago. So another fire hazzard in the property, they signed off on.
ALL in ALL stay AWAY from castle estates in Greenock, They are amateurs and do not know what they are doing, do not keep up made arrangements and only contact you if THEY need something and never to provide a service.
I am still trying to get my deposit back which is getting harder and harder by the day, as they keep making up stuff or making stuff dissappear from the inventory to hold back more of the deposit money.

What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have made sure TV in property was functioning, or got us a new one asap after we told them it was defect. took them four months to get us a new one.. stop selling me BS about the landlord not working with them to solve issues, as my contract is with them and not with the landlord. be less harrassing on phonecalls and SHOULD not have called my employer to complain about me not giving back keys to property back in time while I am waiting on my deposit. THEY NEED TO CLOSE DOWN CASTLE ESTATES GREENOCK OR REARANGE THE CREW INSIDE!Attached Filesnbsp;

We are obviously very disappointed with this review, and we do consider it extremely misleading and inaccurate. What Adam fails to mention is that the £25.00 administration charge has nothing whatsoever to do with his deposit, but was applied because of additional work involved in having to return to the tenant a further rent payment that was made because he failed to cancel his Standing Order ! The property has a current Gas Safety Certificate
The boiler and has a Scottish Gas maintenance contract
The roof leaks occurred in a common roof area during the worst storms in the area on record.
Common repairs are carried out by the factor not the landlord. He has no control over the weather, contractors or the factor.
Mould was caused by condensation due to room not being ventilated
Television was attended too
We can provide details of all emails and texts which clearly demonstrate we reacted to all communications.
The tenant did not walk out and cancel the contract. Due to the constant complaints it was apparent he was not happy with the property and we suggested he move out as soon as a new property was found. He even looked at other properties on our books but none were available at short notice.
Our tenancy agreement clearly details the procedures to be followed if they have a complaint. Brochure and form to lodge complaint given to him and he was advised how to proceed.
We are Regulated by the RICS, licenced by NALS, registered as a Safe Agent and member of Ombudsman Services Property all of these bodies have redress procedures but the tenant chose to use this site to air his alleged issues.
The tenant has failed to explain that the deposit is currently in dispute due to a carpet being badly burnt, which we are trying to resolve through an insurance claim, and the property requiring a dep clean after it was vacated.
We trust this explains the position of Castle Estates and we are disappointed that despite the discussions held in our offices and assistance to get the relocated ASAP that he chose to post a comment.
The property has now been relet and to date we have had no complaints
