Our property was severely damaged from the winter flooding and was to be sold stripped-out and dried, but not re-instated. This was quite a puzzle for the staff as they had not really dealt with such a problematic property and valuation and target market were difficult calls. Throughout the auction process, the staff could not have been more helpful, informed keen to keep us in-the-loop. It is great credit to all the team and their extended efforts that the property sold. We are so grateful.

Hello Richard,
We are really disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with the result on auction day. Unfortunately valuing a property, especially when we are aiming to sell things in just 4 weeks is not an exact science and sometimes we get it wrong. In this instance it does seem as though the price recommended was too high.

Thank you for your feedback.
The sales particulars, photographs and videos we provided were accurate during the pre-auction marketing. If a tenant chooses to vacate a property between exchange and completion there is very little we can do. This is certainly one of the risks when buying a tenanted investment but thankfully it is very rare.
I do empathise with your situation and hope that you are able to turn things around in the coming months.
