We had a large lot (18 apartments in one building) that we knew would be a challenge to sell at Auction as there would be a very limited number of prospective purchasers. The lot didn't sell at Auction but James pursued a bidder from the auction in the 3 weeks post auction and successfully negotiated a sale on auction terms and even achieved a completion within a week of exchange! James was "hands on" and proactive throughout the process to get this difficult sale resulting in a happy vendor!

Hello Richard,
We are really disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with the result on auction day. Unfortunately valuing a property, especially when we are aiming to sell things in just 4 weeks is not an exact science and sometimes we get it wrong. In this instance it does seem as though the price recommended was too high.

Thank you for your feedback.
The sales particulars, photographs and videos we provided were accurate during the pre-auction marketing. If a tenant chooses to vacate a property between exchange and completion there is very little we can do. This is certainly one of the risks when buying a tenanted investment but thankfully it is very rare.
I do empathise with your situation and hope that you are able to turn things around in the coming months.
