Over the last 4 or so months I have ventured into the Woking buy to let world and have found the process much easier with Luke as an advisor. I work in property myself (London / sales) but his local knowledge and consistent market updates have proven very valuable. We first met on a viewing and even though that property wasn't to be he kept me fully updated on the market (even with other agents new properties when he thought they were worth me viewing).
I then secured a property in 'The Birches, Woking' through a competing agent and expected the process (sale and let) to stay in the hands of that office. I did hear from my buying agents lettings manager and as it was vacant and they held keys she agreed to have a look at the flat and come back to me with a rental value and recommended marketing strategy, unfortunately I haven't heard from her since then.. In the background Luke and I were in regular contact (every 2 or 3 weeks) and he again kept me up to date with market conditions / tenant activity etc. Due to a poor solicitor on the vendors side time then started to work against me (with the stamp duty increase looming) and even though Luke / Seymours weren't selling the property to me Luke was in contact to ask if he could be of any assistance with solicitors etc to help get the sale through in time.
On the day of completion Luke picked up the keys from the other agent as I was stuck at work, went to the flat to value / advise on next steps and due to the property needing some cosmetic work we agreed to get some viewings through the door before Internet marketing. Luke and his team must have a very solid knowledge of their tenants as after 1 morning of viewings we were in receipt of an asking price offer + paid deposit from a couple they had previously dealt with, knew well & seem to be a perfect fit (young professionals, non smokers, no pets etc).
Very painless process and I would highly recommend Luke / Seymours. I have now bought 2 properties (and am on plenty more agents books) and the amount of relevant contact received and overall service provided here was by far the best.

Extremely bad! Want £450 admin fees for phone calls + inventory check in but they do the check out! + reference fees + + + .... anything you can think of. Generally passing you to several people and no one knows what they do. They all have memory loss and you can end up with your accounts empty!
