I am new to buying a property however i did not feel comfortable with the agents customer service skills. The house i went for originally went to closing date so i had put an offer in. Once closing date had passed they contacted me to advise seller has gone with a cash buyer, this was fine and understandable however several weeks later contacted me to advise the persons mortgage had fallen through? Asked if i was still interested, i advised i would contact them back the following day as i had to run it past my partner i then contacted them the following day and advised i would be looking to re-negotiate the original offer due to further lawyer fees, they then rushed me off the phone to contact the next person in line which was also understandable as client must of been in a rush now. Following this phone call within a few hours on line the house had gone to yet another closing date, so i contacted them to advise i would be putting in another offer and to expect it soon. They then advised three days prior to closing date the house had been taken off the market due to their client accepting an offer from someone? I am not sure on how these things work but i thought closing date means all potential buyers have to wait until then before you find out if they have suceeded in putting in the right offer. Never would i reccomend them to anyone, didnt explain to me properly how this worked out and i was then at a loss for even more lawyers fees.
