Were to start, there is so much to say regarding their general customer service, rude and unhelpful. We have been trying to purchase a house that they are the agents for and have found their general attitude appalling. They avoid answering or returning calls to either us or our solicitors. They have been rude to us and our agents. We have have found the whole process a lot more stressful than it should have been. When we asked to have a charted surveyor to inspect the property, they were unable to pass on simple messages to arrange his visit, as this was a condition of our mortgage. We were even told by them that there was no need for one and just to get quotes from builders. Repeatedly we had to point out that the report MUST come from someone who is a member of RICS.
When we were attempting to complete and exchange contracts handily when we, our solicitors and our agents were unable to talk to anyone in their office as they were on holiday or out. But they will ring us back, that never happened.
Please please think twice before buying with this lot.

With regards to your experience I must firstly start by assuring you that we always work with the interests of our seller in the forefront of our mind, as well as showing our buyers the highest duty of care.
As I am sure that you will appreciate from selling your own property recently, when an offer is renegotiated from its original agreement, particularly when it is of a sizeable amount, there needs to be just cause and not just decreased because a buyer has accepted less for their own property.
With relation to booking a survey, we did everything within our power to arrange access. It was unfortunate that the vendor was working full time and access to the premises needed to be arranged via the vendor, as we did not hold keys for the property. Your chosen surveyors were contacted several times to advise them of the situation which they have confirmed.
In relation to the potential defect to the property which arose from your initial survey, we worked tirelessly to achieve you a structural engineer's opinion and also an opinion from the vendors insurance company.
Providing you with relevant and up to date information is key to progressing any sale. I am aware from our recorded system notes and witnessing telephone conversations myself, that your wife was kept in regular contact from Irene at our Albany Road branch. In addition Irene had countless telephone conversations with your selling agent and your financial advisor regarding this matter, again which are heavily documented.
With regards to your comments relating to any member of our team being rude to your solicitors, I would like to take this opportunity to point out that we have worked alongside your solicitor for a number of years and have always maintained an excellent working relationship with them and that still continues. This is something that I have personally confirmed with your solicitor and his team.
It is regrettable that there were hold ups relating to your purchase, however as extensively explained to you via ourselves and also your solicitor, this was something completely out of our control.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family all the very best in your new home.
