When viewing the property we were mislead about the type of utility bills covered in rent. We continuously asked the agent and every time they would reluctantly confirm that all utility bills except for water and council tax are covered. Only after we were given the contract we realized there's also electricity paid for by us. I would suggest anyone thinking of going through them to ask for every written confirmation possible.
Only 2 days after been given the contract we got voicemail by one of the employees saying that if we don't sign the contract immediately the property will go back on the market. After paying fees, 6 weeks' deposit and months' rent that is not the type of behaviour you should expect from business like this.
They wouldn't do the check in inventory because according to them landlord hasn't booked this service through them although the contract stipulates we are the ones paying for check in. When we asked them if we could get the check in fee reimbursed they practically said they haven't got the price list for check in and that money should go towards their administration costs.
Extremely unhappy with the overall service as they would need days before answering any questions but when they needed money they were quick to respond.
