My partner and I found a property being listed by Charles Harding in Swindon (2bed flat 1bathroom & ensuite) we made an offer and after a lot of back and forth ended up agreeing at the asking price. After paying for searches the lender down valued the house by 15k! Naturally no one would over pay for a house by 15k however Charles Harding called us and asked us to change lender... (I'm happy with my interest rate & lender thanks). Charles Harding & our lender went through a valuation appeal, which took then 5days to go back on, but Charles Harding rather than providing proof of purchase prices, emailed over asking prices, so naturally our lender hasn't changed their mind. A similar property in that block of flats sold Dec 2015 for 152k the only properties that have sold for the asking price have an extra bedroom - so we've had to walk away.
Yesterday the property went back up for sale for the same price - so Charles Harding clearly after informing their clients correctly and/or are prepared to waste someone else's time again when the same problem from the valuer will happen again.

Nicely done! Find someone is dissatisfied with your company and their interactions with you, then tell them they are wrong. This is great customer service! Makes me wonder why you have 4 times as many negative reviews as positive. Mar 23, 2016
Clare. Your valuer has misled you on two counts. Firstly the four price comparisons provided all stated sold figures and were sold by Charles Harding from this office. Secondly his opinion on value is greatly understated. You will realise this when you are able to compare flats on the market currently at £160,000. You can then make a judgement on your valuers opinion.

I'd just like to say that some people working there are not professional at all, being rude and make you feel like where you even calling with this benefits? We're agency. This is a joke! The lady that I've been on the phone with was treating me like a piece of nothing just because I am a shift leader and I am claiming Universal Credit that I am entitled to as a single mom!
