I have recently had dealings with this agency, when looking at a property with a guy called R* I was treated with total respect and good humour. I was allowed time to look around and although I didn't take the property Ray dealt with my custom with total professionalism.
I contacted Gallant Richardson again because I was so happy with the service I received from Ray to view another property. Unfortunately R* was not in the office and I was dealt with by A* G*. This man is a disgrace to his own business. I strongly advise all tenants not to deal with this agency as Mr G* obviously regards tenants as the lowest of the low, and you may be unfortunate enough to come across this man. If he is like this when you are looking for a property what in Gods name would it be like once you were tied to a contract.
I also advise all landlords to not use this agency, as tenants are the people who pay the landlord and the landlord pays the agent, why would anyone want to do business with a man who treats your customers like something you stepped on in the street!!
There are plenty of agents out there and I'm sure all of our lives would be better off without this ignorant man bringing yet more unprofessionalism to an industry that has a terrible reputation already!!

Best Letting Agent in Colchester 
We answered this gentleman's complaint immediately and the telephone conversation he is referring to was witnessed by other members of staff as well as customers in the office. At no stage so was our member of staff rude or dismissive. In fact, to the contrary, our staff member was very calm and polite, they apologised that the person was not happy but explained they had to clearly explain what our referencing criteria was. The same as we would with any enquiry we took. We apologise if the gentleman was not happy with what he was told but we were not at all rude or offensive in any way.
Unfortunately some agents may not act professionally and take seriously their customer service to tenants but Gallant Richardson do. Unfortunately we do deal with a full cross section of people and are in position where some people will never be happy or like the information they are told.
With any customer, if not happy, we will always do our up most to answer with their complaint but we cannot satisfy complaints which are simply untrue.
