AVOID AVOID AVOID!!**
I was looking to buy a holiday let, I viewed several properties in the Exmouth area. When viewing the properties I asked all agents if the flat could be used as a holiday let. Other agents did there job correctly and told me they could be or could not be.
I found a flat I like so I asked Lewis at Bradleys Exmouth if it could be used as a holiday let, I was told this would be ok so I put an offer in and it was accepted. I asked several times during the sale, both verbally and in writing, if it was defiantly ok to be used as a holiday let and was told each time that yes its fine.
Just before exchanging I called asked Bradleys for the lease company details, I then called them just to double check and I was told that under no circumstances could it be used as a holiday let.
Bradleys are now saying that they didn't actually check the information they were given they just passed it on so are not to blame as they only passed on wrong information.
I have spent over ‚£1,700 on legal fees. This is a lot of money to me and nothing to Bradleys, I have found other bad reviews about them online all saying that there customer service is non existent.
I have been very unwell over the whole thing, Bradleys have just washed their hands of it and have made no effort to resolve the matter
I can only urge anyone buying, selling or renting to think twice about using this company, I asked other agents about the situation and they have all come back to me and said that Bradleys are in the wrong and have acted badly.
I don't much care about what rule or law they are hiding behind by saying we only past on wrong info so are not at fault, the right, good and moral thing to do is to correct their mistake but they have no intention of doing that. AVIOD AVOID AVOID
