I rent out a property in Basingstoke and had previously used a rival letting agent on a fully managed service basis. On a monthly basis I always felt underwhelmed at the service received, despite any issues ultimately being resolved. I guess I assumed a fully managed service would result in a feeling of security and confidence, but this was never the case. So, I decided to switch agents and confess to thinking that I expected little change if any. How wrong I was! Genuine first class service, my options presented in a clear and transparent fashion, a first class tenant and an agent who has gone out of their way to deliver service over and above what I have expected time and again. That feeling of security and confidence was not a pipe dream - I now have it and only wish that I had switched agent sooner. Its rare for me to find the time to write a review, but its a pleasure to know that there are still some businesses that value the basics and deliver against their promises. I would not hesitate to recommend the Basingstoke Property Explorer team to anyone, with a special mention to Wendy Ellis who personifies the experience received. Thank you!

Oliver viewed and valued my property and I requested a guide price and expected sales price.
His manner and lack of communication when I queried the valuation and asked for further information was abrupt and unhelpful.

We had a deal that was marketed with a flyer through the door for a 0.75% fee. It was not stated on the flyer that this was excluding VAT, so when the invoice came through we were a little surprised as we had budgeted on a flat 0.75% fee.
