Unidaplace is one of those agents who exploits the lease agreement and charge their tenants additional fees whenever possible. For example, the first draft of my lease did not include certain charges which suddenly appeared on my second and final draft (this is despite me asking them outright if there are any additional hidden fees I should be aware of). By then, the deposit of 500 pounds has already been paid. Also, they charge a service fee for the communal areas to be cleaned up. During my stay, I have never seen this person ever. And if this person did swing by, she definitely did not clean up the place they way she should. Attitude wise, the staff at Unidaplace is extremely friendly up till the point you sign and commit. After that, it's all business and they take a long time to get back to you. In some sense, this almost feels like a scam. I would strongly advise anyone considering Unidaplace to exhaust all options before signing with them.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Business ethics.

I am sorry you left with bad feelings.
However, exploiting the lease agreement is not what we are, or have ever been about. And as for extra hidden charges, all charges are within the agreement.
The service charge covers all utility bills, council tax etc. and not just the cleaning of the property.
As for time in getting back to people, if you email like we ask, then we can resolve matters more quickly, than if people consistently call the office asking for maintenance requests to be solved instantly.
As for a scam i think that is a deeply inappropriate comment.
We at UnidaPlace pride ourself on providing great accommodation in London, at good value prices, basked up by friendly, consistent service.
Sometimes we make mistakes, and we accept that. And sometimes mistakes, especially regarding maintenance requests, can take time, as they have to be run past the landlord, different quotes gathered, before the works are done. Often it will seem like nothing is being done about a problem, because we are waiting to hear back from other companies, and I can understand this to be very frustrating.
I would like to speak to you more about your past issues and problems during your stay, so would be grateful if you could email me at [email protected] so that we can help resolve any problems especially for our current and future tenants.
Thanks,
Dan.
