I have to say my experience with this branch of Bridgfords was not a positive one. We saw a property advertised at "Offers over £25 000 and went to view it. The Bridgfords agent at the viewing confirmed the asking price but mentioned that "the sellers were looking for as close to 28k as they could get". I put an offer in for 26.5K and an hour later an agent phoned me back and said the seller would not consider less than 28k. So in the space of an hour the asking price had gone up 3 grand! I would never had gone to see it if I'd known this was going to happen. It felt like the agent was trying very hard to squeeze more money out of me. All in all, an afternoon wasted, and I would never use this agency again.
