I had a good experience with Beresford after a chance call with Misty Dowson. The team were very friendly and got stuck into finding me a tenant straight away. In fact it didn't take very long for someone to put an offer in and they have since become my new tenant! My only two areas of feedback are: a) I wasn't ever sure which office I was dealing with as sometimes I spoke to Karl in Brixton and sometimes it was Misty in Streatham. b) There was just a bit of lack of communication going on, but this could just be down to it being over the Xmas period when things were difficult to organise. For example I had to ask for a copy of the contract, that should have been standard. I wasn't informed of the payment schedule so panicked when the tenancy commenced and no money had been received. I had various phone calls about the gas certificate where I said the same thing every time about when the engineer was scheduled to see to the property - does no one take notes? That would have saved three phone calls. But these are minor things and like I said it may have just been the time of the year when people were away and the office closed. Overall they are a great team and I have had a good outcome.

I clearly stated that I would like to be contacted via e-mails so did not understand why the agent attempted to call me at all. Even if that wasn't stated, I would still expect an e-mail follow up or when the agent plans to call, they normally double check the contact details. I should be also informed that you will be attempting to contact me via phone as this is required for your safety. Worth putting it in your e-mail signature.
