The property's appliances were going wrong or broke one by one. When we contacted the agency we had to call several times still we were ignored and had to call the landlord straightaway. Than we got an answer from them. Still needed to wait at least two weeks to get something sorted. They havent reported that the flat failed the gas safety check, I had to inform the landlord after three weeks that the flat is not safe to live in. We have always paid the rent in time and sorted out our bills. Despite of that after 6 months they want to put up the rent which we cant afford. This price we can find a place with an extra bedroom.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Charged high fees for background check. In my belief they havent even bothered to call any of our references. The landlord wanted to meet us personally and checked our references. We have moved from far (2.5 hours away) still had to travel for small things sorted. Also they promised a garage access with the flat which was included in the price, but we havent received any keys to the garage.
